In the future HGS will further develop workshops based on the company's extensive experience with 20 Groups for car dealerships.
After a conventional training session, managers and executives often find it a challenge to apply what was learned to their own dealership. Theory and practice do not always go together. There are differences, be it in the implementation of the specified processes or in the size of the dealership. However, within a dealer 20 Group there is a different picture.
A 20 Group in the automotive trade is an association of about a dozen to 20 or so established car dealerships which are of comparable size, but not in competition with each other. For several years HGS Concept has been successfully managing 20 Groups of car dealerships from two major German premium brands. In our experience, dealers in these groups significantly increase their earnings within twelve months.
The workshops support the dealers in running their businesses more profitably. Each group meets twice a year under the guidance of a host.
Based on key figures the participating companies trade knowledge about:
- Best Practices
- Financial data
- Entrepreneurial future
What exactly is to be achieved with the Dealer 20 Groups, and what benefits do they offer?
- Regular business economic group comparison on the basis of key figures, from which the participants develop their own "roadmap" towards profitability.
- Practice- and experience-based processes and procedures that lead to immediate revenue assurance and enhancement for the dealership.
- The expertise of many, the ex-change of experience with like-minded people, the focus on industry benchmarks and positive peer pressure provide a cost-effective method of ensuring the sustainability of the participating companies.
In order to strengthen the perfor-mance and self-efficacy of the dealerships they support, HGS Concept GmbH will give the principle of "learning from the best" a higher priority in the future.
