Successful Exhibition Training and Coaching in Chemnitz

"Autosalon Chemnitz" car fair

In March 2015, the "Autosalon" motor show was held in the town hall of Chemnitz / Germany. During the run-up to the fair, Eberhard Groß from HGS prepared the team of one of the exhibiting car dealers using a specially-targeted training program. During the event itself he also served as coach for the staff.

In March 2015, the "Autosalon" motor show was held in the town hall of Chemnitz / Germany. During the run-up to the fair, Eberhard Groß from HGS prepared the team of one of the exhibiting car dealers using a specially-targeted training program. During the event itself he also served as coach for the staff. 15,000 visitors witnessed a revised concept with an attractive supporting program at this regional auto show. In particular the special luxury car show - featuring Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini and more - enjoyed great popularity. After all, it was August Horch, the founder of Audi, who was the first to bring the idea of luxury cars to Saxony. There were also some German premieres of various brands, presented by their local car dealers. As part of the program, Kfz-Innung Sachsen West (Motor Vehicle Guild of Western Saxony) presented different occupations in the industry in order to seek out future talents. Trainees themselves were on site to answer questions, so that the upcoming generation could form their own picture of career opportunities. Also, auditions were held for "Saxony's Best Driver". Another booth presented information about traffic violation fines and reduction of traffic violation penalty points. Children were entertained with (auto) mobile games and car show mascot Oskar. Under the coaching of HGS' Eberhard Groß, Uwe Schmidt, managing director of a local car dealership, and his team sold 32 vehicles during the three days of the motor show. This proves that active selling of new cars at a regional fair is a recipe for success. The growing popularity of regional fairs offers all car manufacturers many possibilities for increasing their presence.
