With support from HGS coach Eberhard Groß, a Saxon car dealer achieved a new sales record of 47 vehicles at this year’s "Autosalon" car trade fair in Chemnitz. This represents an increase of almost 50 percent over the previous year.
At "Autosalon Chemnitz", held from March 18 to 20, a regional player was able to score a record sale of 47 vehicles - thanks also to the coaching of Eberhard Groß. This is a significant increase over the previous year with 32 sales. 230 test drives in three days can also be added to the score. Eberhard Groß credits this success to the fact that the team further professionalized its trade show performance compared to 2015.
A special attraction was the appearance of Matthias Steiner, 2008 Olympic champion in weightlifting, who "lifted" his new company car from the booth.
The fair's organizer also draws a positive balance: 15,500 visitors attended the Autosalon Chemnitz during the three days - a new record. A total of 30 exhibitors were represented at the fair, featuring 25 brands in all.
For the future Eberhard Groß sees potential for further growth, both for the event itself as well as in revenue for the car dealership. According to his calculations, every 329th visitor bought a new car from our client. "If the number of visitors increased to 20,000, we would reacht 60 units."
