The priorities of learning objectives
How can the learning performance of different participants be objectively and meaningfully compared? It should be noted here that the desired learning objectives have different status - a point that conventional point and grading systems pay too little attention to.
Adaptive Learning overcomes this inaccuracy by prioritizing the learning objectives. In a dialogue with our trainers, you define which competencies the learners should acquire and assign one of three priorities to each learning objective:
- Does the learning objective belong to the indispensable core of the module (core)?
- Does the learning objective have to be achieved in order to successfully complete the module (pass)?
- Does the learning objective go beyond the competencies required to successfully complete the module (Excel)?
By assigning one of these three priorities to each learning objective in the module, we obtain a basis for a meaningful comparison of the learning performance of different participants.
